Regal Jewelry aims to be at the forefront of the sustainable jewelry movement. By adopting green business strategies and adhering to ethical and responsible corporate practices, we are committed to minimizing the environmental impact and social implications of the jewelry industry. Our focus on eco-friendly, transparent, and conflict-free sourcing, along with ethical practices and social responsibility, sets us apart as a leader in sustainable jewelry manufacturing.
At Regal Jewelry, we prioritize the use of sustainable materials and manufacturing techniques. Our company has received the RJC CoP Certification to properly use recycled precious metals in our facility. As such, we offer the option of using Recycled Gold and Recycled Silver for our customers. By doing so, we actively contribute to reducing the use of newly mined materials, thereby conserving natural resources.
To lessen our environmental impact, In the past, we have implemented an efficient air filtration system, in-house wastewater management systems, and comprehensive recycling programs for general waste. However, with the goal to reach higher levels of sustainability, in 2022 Regal Jewelry started measuring its Corporate Carbon Footprint. With these tangible measurements, we are dedicated to minimizing our environmental footprint through short-term and long-term projects. Some examples of the projects that we have already started executing are the mangrove reforestation project in a 16,000 sqm sized land, changing our machine parts to more energy efficient components, and implementing solar panels in our factory for renewable energy.
Upholding ethical practices is a fundamental aspect of our production process and employment policies. We align our operations with the Responsible Jewelry Council's (RJC) Code of Practices (CoP) to ensure transparent and conflict-free supply chains for both natural and synthetic stones and metals. By adhering to these standards, our customers can trace the origins of our materials and have peace of mind, knowing that human rights are upheld throughout our practice.
In terms of our Labor practices, Regal Jewelry believes in investing in our employees. Certified by BSCI and following the Ethical Trade Initiative (ETI), Regal Jewelry prioritizes fair treatment, anti-discrimination, anti-forced labor, fair remuneration, and many more standards regarding labor rights for our employees. Our company is also dedicated in fostering our employees’ professional development and empower artisans to enhance their skills. We provide scholarships for Bachelor's and Master's programs to our employees, ensuring their personal growth and development, while bringing outside consultants and trainers to train our employees on topics such as emotional intelligence, leadership skills, persuasive presentation skills, and more.
Regal Jewelry firmly believes in conducting business with social responsibility. We recognize education as a long-term, self-sustainable solution, and therefore, we extend our support beyond our employees. We offer scholarships, educational resources, and funds to underprivileged children and their families in Thailand. By doing so, we aim to create more opportunities for them, enabling them to build a brighter future. Each year, Regal Jewelry also donates household items, food, and funds to schools, orphanages, the elderly, or the blind, to support the needs of our community.
At Regal Jewelry, we take great pride in our industry certifications and recognition, which validate our commitment to sustainability and ethical practices. We are certified by reputable organizations such as the Responsible Jewelry Council (RJC), Higg Index, Sedex, Amfori BSCI, ISO 9001, and Thailand's Green Industry.
