Regal Jewelry, a jewelry manufacturer within the gem and jewelry entrepreneur network, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Office of the Vocational Education Commission on Wednesday, September 13th, 2023, to support the gem and jewelry industry in Thailand. This MOU operates under the subcommittee of government and private sectors to foster the growth of vocational education in the gem and jewelry industry.
The objectives of this MOU are to enhance cooperation between the government and private sectors in improving gem and jewelry knowledge in vocational education, producing and developing skilled craftsmen to meet the demands of the job market, implementing a bilateral education program and apprenticeships, supporting the gem and jewelry business in Thailand, and elevating all aspects of Thai vocational education to meet universal standards.
During this event, we also had the opportunity to witness a gem and jewelry fashion show, featuring exquisite jewelry pieces from 13 jewelry brands and manufacturers. Regal Jewelry's award-winning pieces were also featured in this fashion show and worn by students from our bilateral education program. This ensures that we can provide knowledge of jewelry design and craftsmanship skills to empower teachers, students, and the wider craftsmanship community, ensuring the sustainability of the jewelry business.
